I had to start with something. Instead of the first post – rather a question:
What do you think about password managers – either stand alone or buili in, like those found in applications like internet browser?
Even Bruce Schneier swears by it. I’m a little affraid that any password management system can do more harm than good. It represents a single point of failiure. Not only in case when user forgets the master password but also when the master password becomes compromised.
Recent discoveries of flaws in Firefox and Internet Explorer password managers support this idea. I would like to hear your opinions…
